Inheriting the company from his father, Luigi Cappagli in 1974, with ambitions of expansion of business changes the trading company into a company selection and trade of cereal and fodder plant seed with license number 2, issued in 1974 by the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Crafts and Agriculture of Pisa, with the name: Cappagli Luigi Sementi. Since 2012 the company is carried out by the children with the new name Cappagli Sementi S.a.s. Today the company has an initial building of selection, in Arnaccio, which also has offices and housing. It has also a second store in Vicarello where they placed the main machinery for the selection of seeds in general. The company headquarters is located in the municipality of Cascina, via Arnaccio, 109 (Pisa) far few kilometers from the S.G.C. Florence-Pisa-Livorno (Navacchio exit). The Company sells all the main species of fodder plants, gramineae and leguminosae, strictly certified by the body responsible for marketing in the Community area. It also makes use of certificates issued by ISTA (International Seed Testing Association) to send material in countries outside the community area. It also markets special mixtures for gardens, stable fields, meadows for grassing of vineyards, scarps and paddocks. In the sports sector disposes of high-quality prepared turfs for soccer fields, golf etc. formulated by the best known companies in the industry. Also sells seeds of a biological nature of all the species listed in the catalog, all duly certified by the agencies in charge for this purpose.
